Wilderness Camp
Come join us for a week in the wilderness! Each week is limited to 20 male campers. Camping experience or camping gear is not necessary in order to register. Wilderness camping weeks will be scheduled during the regular teen or junior camp. Individual or church groups, as well as fathers with their sons may register. Camp Joy will serve as the jump off point for day trips. Campers will attend most services or guest speakers will come for outback services.

Teen Wilderness Camps are for males of 7th - 12th grade and their father or youth sponsor.

Wilderness teen camp weeks open on Sunday, 3-5 PM and end Saturday, 10 AM.

Camp Cost: $260 per person
this includes the $25 registration fee

Save $10 if registration is post marked or submitted online by February 28th!
What To Bring:
Bible, pencil, paper, sleeping bag, pillow, towels, toiletries, spending money, swimwear, rain gear, backpack (if you have one), pocket knife (no sheath knifes allowed). Camp has some camping gear but you may bring your own if you like.

DO NOT BRING:
Radios, CD or DVD players, cell phones, palm pilots, pagers, playing cards, fireworks, video games, magazines, televisions, tobacco, alcoholic beverages, or drugs.

Items to bring money for are:
Snack Shops, Coffee Shop, Bookstore, Cowboy Town (souvenirs, toys, etc.)

Camp T-shirts, approximately $11 each

Camp shirts (polo-style or collared), ranging from $20-$30

Craft Shop, ranging from $1 - $10

CDs of services, $3 each message

"Week-in-Review" DVD, $8 each

Screenhouse, $1 (Campers sleep out in one of our wood-frame, screened-in cabins on our property for a night. There is a special marshmallow cookout and a devotional that night as well.)
BB Gun Range, $1

Grill, items ranging from $1 - $4 (pizza, hamburgers, fries, etc)

All accommodations are reserved on a first-come, first-serve basis. Reservations cannot be confirmed or guaranteed without registering in advance. Please send your registration form and $25 (per person) non-refundable, non-transferable registration fee to Camp Joy.

The balance will be due when you arrive at camp.
In striving to maintain modesty and a Christ-honoring atmosphere, we request that you follow these dress guidelines:

Collared shirts and nice pants for services. Please do not bring shorts to wear for general activities. Shorts are only permitted during swim times. Boys will not be permitted to wear sleeveless shirts (except at the lakefront). Bring sweats or running pants to wear over shorts to and from the lakefront.
Pants should be worn for activities; this will protect against poison ivy and briars. Bring 2 pairs of hiking shoes.

Please do not bring any clothing with inappropriate advertising. We reserve the right to ask any camper to change if clothing is considered to be inappropriate. These guidelines apply to all campers and sponsors.
Wilderness Camp is a great opportunity for every man and boy to enjoy the great outdoors! We offer no other camping experience like Wilderness Camp it is the perfect camping expereince. This week will satisfy the "adventurer" in you!
