Recently news headlines across Wisconsin and upper Illinois flashed with eyewitness reports of a meteor lighting up the northern sky. Many thought a meteor hit somewhere in Southern Wisconsin. Then came reports of strange things occurring in the secluded swamp at Camp Joy. Some reported that they heard unusual sounds while playing paintball around the swamp. Others, while hiking the trails, said they saw lights and air bubbles come up from beneath the swamp waters. These reports caused some curious campers to investigate.
