Bible Quiz Meet
Introducing Camp Joy's Bible Quiz Meet! Bible quiz teams are assembling at Camp Joy for a fantastic Bible Quiz extravaganza. Not only will they compete with some of the top quiz teams, but will also be quizzed by head AACS quiz masters such as Matt West and David Poston! This is a meet your team does not want to miss!

You will find Camp Joy to be the ideal environment for this event. Enjoy a variety of quizzing and an opportunity for your young people to be challenged spiritually, mentally, and physically. This is a combination of camping and quizzing that your team will really benefit from! For this event you will find the campground to be a great asset for organization, comfort, and usability. The activities will be a great addition to the normal quizzing routine.

Arrival: Thursday, registration will be from 2-5 PM with supper at 5:00 PM.
Departure: The meet will end on Saturday with a double elimination ending around 2:30 PM.

Lodging for Adult Sponsors:

Chaperones will be housed in the cabin with the team members.

What To Bring: Bible, warm twin-size bedding, pillow,towels, toiletries.

Items that you might like to bring money for are: Offerings, Snack Shops, Coffee Shop, Bookstore, CDs of services ($3 each message) Rifle Range ($2).

All accommodations are reserved on a first-come, first-serve basis. Reservations cannot be confirmed or guaranteed without registering in advance. We encourage all church groups to call with an estimated attendance four weeks before the retreat. Each team or church group is to provide their own chaperones. In striving to maintain modesty and a Christ-honoring atmosphere, we request that you follow these dress guidelines: For winter activities bring warm clothing. Please do not bring clothing with inappropriate advertising. Camp Joy personnel will enforce these guidelines and reserve the right to have a camper change if deemed necessary.

     Men:
     Collared shirts and nice pants for
     services and quizzing.
     No shorts please, and avoid clothing with
     any inappropriate advertising.

     Ladies:
     Dresses or skirts (mid-calf length, or longer)
     for services and quizzing.
     Loose-fitting slacks or culottes for activities.
     Blouses should be loose and fall within
     two inches of the base of the neck.

For cold weather, please bring appropriate clothing.
Activites To Enjoy:
Three Spectacular quiz tournaments on Friday, where even the coaches can participate

One Traditional-style quiz tournament on Saturday, with double elimination

Each team is guaranteed at least 7 quizzes

Activites To Enjoy:
Night tubing, Hockey, Ice skating, Ft. A-maze-ing (giant walk-through maze), rifle range, toboggan run (no snow needed), sky glide, gym activities, game room, and much more!
